Places to Visit

A leisurely walk over the stunning open countryside of Dartmoor  followed by a Devon cream tea, or you could visit one of the many National Trust

properties in the area.

If you are feeling energetic you could have a quick round of golf on one of the many courses in the area, or maybe a cycle ride along the Granite Way over Meldon Viaduct and enjoy the superb views across Dartmoor or maybe a trip on The Dartmoor Railway  up to Meldon.  There is also swimming, horse riding and fishing available locally.

 

Also within easy reach is The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

 

Rubbytown is within walking distance of the newly designated World Heritage Site for mining heritage that incorporates the Devon Great Consols mining area.  Morwellham Quay is within a 10 minute drive of the farm.
