About the Farm

Set amongst 250 acres of woodland and pasture there are lovely walks locally where you can
see abundant wild flowers and wildlife.

 

Rubbytown Farm is ideally situated for visiting Morwellham Quay and the World Heritage Site that incorporates the bordering historic Devon Great Consols mine area.

 

Whilst retaining its charm, the house is furnished to a high standard of comfort and offers accommodation which is spacious and enjoys magnificent views.

Situated four miles from the ancient Stannary (Tin) Town of Tavistock, a thriving market town on the edge of Dartmoor and the birthplace of Sir Francis Drake.

Tavistock has recently been awarded the title of “Best Market Town in Devon”, why don’t you come and see why?

 

The local pub is just ten minutes walk away and serves evening meals, or you could  try the 

renowned “Horn of Plenty” restaurant which is only one mile away.    Tavistock can also offer a variety of restaurants including Chinese  and Indian along with local traditional fare.

 

TARIFF

Bed and Breakfast from £28.00 per person per night.  To ensure our guests receive the attention they deserve throughout their stay we limit the number of B&B guests at any one time to four.

Prices are based on two people sharing a double/twin room.  A deposit of £50 per room is required when booking and in the event of cancellation this will only be refunded if it is has been possible to re-let the accommodation.

 

Self-Catering is available from £300.00 per week.

A deposit of £100 is required when booking with the balance due for payment six weeks before arrival.  In the event of cancellation payment will only be refunded if it is has been possible to re-let the accommodation.
